A Delightful Garden
Anyone with an interest in gardens should consider taking a tour of Lotusland, a unique botanical institution not far from the Biltmore. It was formerly the estate of Madame Ganna Walska, an eccentric horticultural enthusiast and jewelry collector who transformed her estate into a fantasy of plants. It is closed on Sundays and appointments are necessary. For more info and to schedule a visit, go to lotusland.org.
